This was my first time seeing Dr Adams and I was extremely pleased with my visit. She came across as sincere and never made me feel rushed. To begin our visit, she listened to all of my concerns and then proceeded to walk through all of them. At the end, she made sure I didn’t have any other questions. I felt as though I received exceptional care. I’m looking forward to seeing her again.
I am new to Deerfield Dermatology and am SO very happy here! Everyone in the office works SO well together. I have seen Sammi 3 times. She is very professional & keeps you very informed on what she is doing and why. She works really well with her staff! The front office is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using Deerfield Dermatology.

good, with both the front desk and the clinician. Reception staff was rude and inpatient regarding scheduling on the phone every single time. Need more professional training.
Just saw Dr. Beth Adam's. She was amazing. She was thorough, professional and kind. I would recommend anyone looking for a dermatologist to book an appointment with Dr. Adam's. I also fully recommend Deerfield Dermatology. The staff is professional, kind and efficient.

Have had great experience with my doctors
I have noticed a significant improvement in front desk staff they don’t seem as frazzled or clueless last few times I’ve been there. was so bad for so long Drs are always excellent, but previous experience with front desk was usually a mess
They told me when I arrived that there was a coding issue with my doctor and blue cross blue shield and that I would need to pay $200 out of pocket and have BCBS reimburse me after the fact. In fact, it was a contract issue that they then admitted to which meant I’d pay them and be out $200 because they’re not under a contract with BCBS with the doctor I was seeing. So they were dishonest as well as being unhelpful. Their only solution was to drive to Gurnee to a sister office if they had an opening or reschedule. I even called earlier in the day to ask about an earlier appt and they had the opportunity to tell me then about the issue but failed to notice. Receptionist said she was new and I won’t fault her but she can’t be telling people it’s a code issue when it’s a contract issue and it’ll cost me $200 with no shot at reimbursement. Very unhelpful and very disappointed in the patient care.
MD et alia were professional, helpful, and pleasant. They gave detailed explanations for each stage of MOHS surgery for basal cell carcinoma. They were careful and attentive to pain control. All questions were answered.
